Northparkes announces successful Community Investment Program applicants

CMOC-Northparkes Mines (Northparkes) has announced the latest recipients of its Community Investment Program. Northparkes runs its Community Investment Program twice a year, with $40,000 each round.

In this round of funding, 18 initiatives from across Parkes, Forbes, Peak Hill, Tullamore, Trundle and Tottenham received support. Northparkes Managing Director Jim Fowler said, “It’s great to see such a diverse range of community groups applying. Given this, we were able to assist a variety of initiatives focused on supporting health, recreation, sport, music and aged care.”

“Northparkes is proud to support the community in which we live and work. This program is a great way for us to be able to lend a hand to initiatives that are important to our community. We hope to see a continued strong number of applicants to this program and look forward to hearing about the various successes and outcomes.”
