The Northparkes Mines 2017 – 2018 Work Placement Program is now open

Our annual work placement program runs for eight weeks over the summer university holidays. Work placement students spend time with the department most relevant to their studies. Project work to develop your skills is provided based on your technical background. You are also provided the opportunity to participate in a major community project.

We’re excited to announce the Northparkes Mines Work Placement Program for 2017 – 2018 is now open. Northparkes will have placement opportunities available in the following disciplines for current university students:

  • Mining Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy
  • Geology
  • Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
  • Environmental/Ecology

The program will run for a eight weeks and it is a requirement that you are covered by your university’s insurance.

Our Graduate Program is designed to give you the widest exposure to all facets of the business, and nurture your career and personal development as a future leader.

You will be supported each step of the way by a mentor, a buddy and a dedicated project lead to ensure your graduate competencies and leadership development is achieved.
