Women in Industry expert panel

At this free event, CMOC-Northparkes Mines is bringing together a panel of three leading women in industry to discuss their careers, decisions they’ve made and challenges navigated along the way.
They will share insights and anecdotes, with tips on work-life balance, and explain what success looks like to them.

Take this opportunity to learn from industry-leaders, network with peers and support this inaugural Parkes-based event.

Nedra Burns
In her management role at Cadia Valley Operations, Nedra supervises over 100 people. Nedra built her career in mining on the back of ten years in community relations, and is well-known for her innovative approaches to community engagement and stakeholder consultation. Nedra worked for the Minerals Council of Australia for over a decade.

Anna Wyllie
Anna is the Economic and Business Development Manager Parkes Shire Council, she manages a diverse team which includes destination development, marketing, communications and events including the Parkes Elvis Festival. Anna has a Bachelor of Commerce and has worked in several finance roles and as the General Manager for a regional charity in Canada.

Roslyn Dalton
Roslyn joined Northparkes as Manager Ore Processing in 2014, having held similar roles with Queensland Nickel and GEMCO in the NT. Throughout her career, Roslyn has worked with lead, zinc, copper, silver, gold, uranium, coal, manganese, nickel and cobalt across many parts of Australia. In 2011 she was the Northern QLD Business Woman of the Year.
