Community and External Relations Officer for Northparkes, Elysha Loiterton, was pleased that Northparkes was associated with the successful program, which is now in its fourth year. “Northparkes recognise how vital sport is to our local community; supporting the Parkes Sports Council Grants Program is one way we can contribute to some of the teams and clubs which do such a great job helping to keep Parkes healthy and happy,” she said.

In total $12,551 in grants were distributed. The next round of grants will open in January next year, with a total of $15,000 available to be distributed.
