Acting Managing Director
Hubert joined Northparkes in 2011, and was responsible for the Asset Management department. In September 2018, Hubert was appointed acting Managing Director. Prior to joining Northparkes Hubert worked for a number of companies within the aluminium and steel industries where he gained a wide range of experience in maintenance, engineering, production, sales and marketing, organisational redesign and project management. Hubert has more than 20 years of experience in several countries including South Africa, Norway, Venezuela and Australia.
Manager Mining Operations
Rob has worked at Northparkes for over 20 years. Before being appointed Manager Mining Operations in 2015, his previous roles included Manager Health, Safety, Environment, and Farms, Manager Tunnel Boring and Special Projects, Surface Mining manager, Surface Open Cut Mining Production superintendent and Underground Production superintendent. Rob completed a Diploma of Mining Engineering in 2006, a Below Ground Production Managers Certificate in 2007 and an Above Ground Production Managers Certificate in 2008.
Manager Ore Processing and Fixed Plant Maintenance
Roslyn joined Northparkes as Ore Processing Manager in 2014. The Processing Plant consists of crushing, grinding, floatation and dewatering circuits designed to liberate copper and gold from the ore body. Roslyn has previously served in similar roles at Queensland Nickel and GEMCO on Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria in the Northern Territory. Roslyn has worked with lead, zinc, copper, silver, gold, uranium, coal, manganese, nickel and cobalt throughout her career. In 2011 she was the Northern Queensland Business Woman of the Year and awarded Professional Manager of the Year in the A.I.M. Management Excellence Awards. Roslyn has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry.
Manager People, Safety and Environment
Stacey joined the Northparkes team in 2012 as the Training Superintendent and joined the Northparkes leadership team in 2014. Coming from a background in education she has a passion for training and development. Stacey has a Masters of Education from the University of Canberra and holds several other graduate and postgraduate qualifications. Stacey recently spent six months with CMOC International working on their acquisitions in Brazil and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She is also the Chair of the Northparkes Wiradjuri Executive Committee.
Jacques joined Northparkes in 2007 and has served in several commercial and finance related roles. The Finance Director role includes oversight of finance, business analysis, sales and logistics, procurement and information systems. Jacques has 19 years’ experience in mining, accounting and finance – prior to joining Northparkes he worked for Rio Tinto in Namibia for 10 years including four with the Rossing Foundation, the social responsibility arm of Rossing Uranium.
Manager Life-of-Mine Studies and Exploration and Engineering
Angus has been with Northparkes for 10 years, during which he’s held a wide variety of senior technical, operational and project management roles. He’s worked on the E48 block cave mine development, E22 open cut campaign and Step Change expansion studies. In 2016 Angus was seconded to the role of Manager People, Safety and Environment, and was appointed to the role of Manager LOMEX in November 2016. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining), as well as a First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency. Prior to joining Northparkes, Angus worked at open cut and underground gold and copper mines in North QLD, WA and Canada.
